Brock's Story

Some of the CYF images contain a reference to a camper named Brock, who was absent from Barbee this year. Brock has been a regular camper at Barbee for many years, and he has made many friends there. This year was to be Brock's last year as a camper, but he enlisted in the military and he was in Basic Training during our week of camp. The campers of the 2005 CYF Conference would like to send our love and friendship to Brock, as well as our prayers for his safety. We missed Brock during this week of camp, we always saved a chair for him, and we want Brock to know that we love him and he is never forgotten. We thank Brock for his service to our country, and we want him to come back to us.
